During a wild investigation in search of the mysterious piano from the Köln Concert, the backstage of a myth and a genius at work are gradually revealed.

The story of the Köln Concert plunges us into the heart of the mystery of creation: how what was billed as the worst concert by one of the most uncompromising musicians ever became his most famous record and, for many, a a true gem of jazz.
It is this mystery that this film would like to get as close as possible.
To tell this story, there is no shortage of obstacles: almost no archive of this concert exists, apart from the recording itself, several of the main protagonists of this evening refuse to speak about it and the few testimonies that have survived 'to us often prove contradictory, only thickening the mystery. However, many historical elements never mentioned have been found and shed new light on this work.
